Spontaneous Combustion was shot in 2004 and is the Cave of Trouble’s second movie. It remains essential viewing for any serious researcher of spontaneous human combustion (SHC), and is recommended for anyone who is interested in conspiracy theory. It also features what was arguably the Cave of Trouble’s only minor hit, “May I Have Some Cake Please.” This would certainly be different if the band had of put out the still unreleased lost treasure, “Get Away from Me.” Or maybe not.
The movie currently exists in a form on Protozoic, but the version is pretty low resolution. Now, thank goodness, you can watch it on your phone in this new version.
Here are a couple screen grabs from H.P. Thomcraft II. More soon.

JB lent me his MBOX 2 Pro and a Sennheiser e835 microphone. I like the e835. They run around 80 bucks. And I really like the MBOX 2 Pro; mother AVID on the other hand and customer service with Digidesign is shit. Screw those jokers.
Some Super 8mm I shot in Burlington, VT.
Strange crackers we buy periodically at Ollie’s. Crab seasoned corn bread crackers.
The pepper jack dip was disgusting. Mike bought that. It was like melted plastic.
In Nara, there were deer everywhere.
