I found the article interesting due to the fact that the sources on this story are pretty reliable - both the LAT and the Toronto Police Dpt. are pretty solid - but I’ve read a few follow up articles that have said that the Toronto Police Dpt. was slightly misquoted. The LAT is standing firm on the story though…
I thought this was relevant since Mike reminded me recently of an idea from a ways back. He wanted to film “Trekkies” dressed in full Trekkie-garb attending a Renaissance Faire. I think this idea has the potential to be pretty damn funny. This little tidbit of information can only help add to the level of creepiness of the whole thing.
